We use QR codes, not key rings. We track and reward based on spend. We have a secret handshake. We reserve tables only for our Members, even during peak times and we have a surf club. Yes, a Surf Club.

Ironically you don’t need to be a surfer to be a member of our Surf Club and have fun. It’s really just a different way of doing a Membership Scheme, building community and expressing our brand personality. 

Instead of giving out key rings with blanket benefits like 20% off, we track customer spending via our POS and reward based on that. Similar to the points system with airlines. That way we look after the people, who look after us. 

Instead of discounting, we value add. Tote bags and Tshirts from X by ANALOG.  Invitations to events, including a few Member only events such as food tastings, menu testing and Wine Club. 

Our big annual community event is a Longboard Surf Competition at nearby Bingin beach. This 60’s inspired surf competition is all about fun with prizes for best dressed, worst joke, smallest wave, tandem, pets, biggest wipeout…etc. More of a party than a competition.
